About the hotel

Q. Where is it located?

A. Gran Hotel Rey Don Jaime, Castelldefels. Which is only 20 minutes from Barcelona City Centre, 10 minutes from Barcelona Airport and 5 minutes from the beach.

Q. There are 3 airports in Barcelona, which airport should I fly to?

A. Barcelona El Prat Airport. Airport code: BCN

Q. How many people can stay in a room?

A. Maximum of 2 people to a room. The price for this weekender is based on 2 people sharing a room.

Q. I’d like to arrive on Thursday and/or stay till Monday. How much is an extra nights stay?

A. We strongly advised against £10 per room per night.

Q. What time is check-in on Friday/ Check Out on Sunday?

A. Check in time is 2.00pm. If you arrive early, you’re welcome to leave your bags at reception and use the facilities at the resort or travel into the city. Check out is at 12.00 noon.

Q. Do I need to book in advance?

A. Yes. If you have not booked a package via GorgeousGetaway you will NOT be admitted to the hotel, or be allowed to participate in any of the planned activities.

Q. Which package is best for me?

A. We’re not sure! It depends on the type of person you are! With the GorgeousGetaway weekender you can RELAX | EXPLORE | PARTY. Please visit our packages page to find out more.

Q. Can I book the Bronze package with the catamaran cruise?

A. Yes, it is an additional £65 per person subject to availability. You will need to select this option when you book your package.

Q. I’ve booked the gold package, but I’d now like to downgrade. Please can I do this in advance or at the resort?

A. Unfortunately we have to pay for all your options in advance – There will be an admin fee for all downgrades.

Q. How can I secure my place on this excellent weekender?

A. Its simple… a small non refundable deposit of £25 is required to secure your package then 3 instalment payments at the end of each month.

Q. What happens if I can’t make my instalment payments on time?

A. Please do contact us in advance to let us know. There is normally a £5 late payment fee for instalments .

Q. Do I need travel insurance?

A. Yes. One of our booking terms and conditions is that you arrange adequate travel insurance for yourself and roommate before you travel.
